Of course you have to make sure its got a full tank when you drop it off again, and be known that if you leave it to the rental company to do, you will pay a premium price for it. People say you can get trapped on the insurance on rental cars but that’s not the case. Its purely a matter of you get what you pay for if you dont pay a lot of money then don’t expect too much. If the insurance is cheap then you will most certainly have a high excess and you can pay above to bring it down. Its really no different to the car you have at residence.


If you are afraid about the different road rules and not being able to find your way around you can always get a GPS included in the rental so you will not get adrift
