2. Shop for a popular book written in English. Maybe you just need some rest away from the computer for awhile. Visit your local bookstore and try to get a copy of a bestseller book. No need to get the highest-priced ones, just select a book which you can afford. Many bestsellers do not only tell great stories, their English are also quite easy for people to grasp which makes them really enjoyable. For an alternative, you may request for several titles from your local library. Well, you must already be aware that owning or borrowing some English books will not do any good if you do not spend time reading them.

3. If you read or hear about a word which you do not understand completely, write it down. This will help you create a list of words to research about. What you can do about these words is to ask your online English instructor about their meaning and usual usage. You may also try writing sample sentences using these new words as you find more about them.

You do not have to entertain feelings of pressure when you take your online English lessons. Sometimes, all you have to do is to incorporate the English language in the activities that you enjoy.
