Galcon isn't only on the iPhone, a desktop version is available as well, it really shines on the iphone, offering addicting space battles that play super fast.
The game is not very hard to get the hang of,to get the win, send your ships at enemy planets and take them over. To destroy your opponent , capture their planets with spaceships. The bigger the planet you control, the faster your ships are produced.
Some people were upset when Galcon first hit the app store, and the price was set at 10 bucks. Developer Phil Hassey is up to version 1.4 now, which has added a ton of single-player options, music and sound effects, a color-blind mode, a player ranking system, and a great multi-player mode that lets you go up against up to three other players at once. And it works great over 3g or edge!
Now he has dropped the price to 5 bucks!
