Quickly Eliminate Cravings For Junk Consuming Just Green Smoothies

I'd like to start by stating that this information is merely my opinion which is based on information I have read from expert authors and from the 10+ years living and eating the way I have on a daily basis. That and my twice a year blood work which indicates no deficiencies, I feel that this information is valid. Perhaps it works just for me, my body type and genetics, I can't say for certain. However, just like smoking cigarettes could probably have an affect on each one of us with various degrees of health negatives, green smoothies, I feel, could probably affect each one of us with various degrees of health positives. Try it for yourself, after talking about it with a naturopath or other doctor initially of course.

The body is designed to heal itself right? If that's the case, why are people sick? Maybe that is incorrect and the human body really isn't equipped for natural healing? No! The trouble is that men and women a) do not provide it with the right amount of tools, by way of diet for the most part, it requires to reset itself and b) we bombard our body with crap that hinders the performance of the limited number of essential resources that we actually do provide it.

I'm a big advocate of the raw food lifestyle. The suggestion that adding heat to foods past a certain temperature destroying much needed enzymes that are important for digestion makes plenty of sense to me. Beyond that, it is indicated that to get the most from our foods that we should chew it until it disappears. We have troubles digesting big pieces of food. Also, I really feel that human beings can survive and thrive with a a diet of mainly fruits and greens, with of course some healthy fats. Healthy fats in the form of avocados, soaked nuts and seeds is all I generally consume.

My main meals every single day are comprised of sufficient amounts of raw fruits and green vegetables in the form of green smoothies. Smoothies, being essentially liquefied, my body is able to assimilate the nutrients without a problem.

A giant hurdle for some when switching diets, and a huge one for myself is handling unhealthy cravings. Like a person addicted to alcohol or drugs must detoxify in an effort to heal, we essentially have to do a similar thing. The cells in our body consist of stuff from foods that we have ingested in the past. The body generally craves much of the same unhealthy foods that contribute to the contents of each of the cells in our body. For drug detoxes, many times, dry sauna therapy is used to sweat out the drugs. This could help eliminate the physical drug cravings which will allow the individual a better chance at sobriety. For us, adjusting our eating habits will probably influence the clearing of toxic foods as well which can be naturally removed in our poop, perspiration and urine. But, we may still having cravings for those foods while some of the toxic elements in our cells are still there.

I, myself, have found that quickly after having the first drink of my smoothie the cravings for sugar, salt, meat, grease, etc started to subside. After I was done drinking the smoothie, the unhealthy cravings were gone completely and I would be content. The problem then was that the cravings would return as I became hungry. So I started to make sure I was on top of it and would have another smoothie ready and waiting before the cravings would reoccur, or shortly after they began. The unhealthy cravings at last subsided for good as I cleaned out my system. And then I began to crave greens instead!
