In my previous articles, I have touched on the topic of Google Adwords. After knowing the benefits that any online marketer can get from it, I have come up here with strategies on how to have a successful campaign.
The first strategy is the negligible campaign. There’s one implication that you’re not getting significant traffic to your site compared to your competitors, that’s when you can see your ad on the lower left quadrant of the web page. To ensure that you can address this issue, you need to increase your daily budget and make sure that you keywords are getting an average position of 7. That will send off your ad on the upper left optimized quadrant of the web page, which means you are clearly visible to your targeted audience.
We also have the inefficient campaign. That’s when you see your ad on the lower right quadrant of the web page. Not only are you overpaying for the traffic which may not be targeted at all, they also are of a low daily budget which gets penalized by Google. But there’s a catch here. When you can move up your ad to the optimized upper right quadrant, you can get a lot of money from it.
How to achieve that? You lower your bids on any keywords with an average position of 1-4. I’m telling you that in 24 to 48 hours, you will find that your campaign will be shifting to the lower left or upper left quadrant (if it doesn’t lower your bids but not below position 7). Once it hits position 7, you may need to increase your daily budget; then follow the appropriate strategy for the quadrant, which may be negligible or optimized.
In any tightly competing industry like copywriting, out of say 125 competitors, only 2 are advertising well. That’s good enough knowledge for you to work hard enough.
