The Biggest Mistakes You Could Be Making In Your MLM Company

You’ve found the best Network Marketing company and signed up. You’ve done all your research and are really motivated by the many possibilities you see in this incredible line of business. Your sponsor has gotten in touch with you and has promised to support you all the way. Life is good. It’s all systems go!

Onwards three months into the future. You have no leads. It hasn’t worked. You’re completely confused. You’re in constant conflict trying to balance the demands of your everyday life with your new business. You're getting ready to drop out. This MLM business isn’t right for you.

Sound familiar? We've all been there at one time or another. Network Marketing isn't just about stepping into a new career, it's also about creating a new thought process. This doesn’t happen overnight. And it takes commitment.

Many MLMers don’t succeed for one very straight-forward reason; they don’t know how to manage their time.

So how can you prevent this happening to you?

1. Set aside time specifically for your network marketing company.

You MUST sit down and create a work schedule. Mere words such as, “I’ll get to it eventually…” is not going to do it. You have too many distractions, too many other things going on in your life. Unless you specifically put aside time for your business, it won’t work! Will some things need to be forfeited for a little while? Sure. Will it pay off? More than you could ever imagine. Make a decision now, this moment, and write it down; what will your home business hours be?

2. Don't research yourself out of business.

Learning is always great – but if you put all your time into study…how are you earning? While you're getting "book learning", others are out there prospecting, making mistakes and SALES. Don't think you have to know everything before you get started. We, none of us, can learn all there is to learn. Grow your bank balance WHILE you grow your knowledge!

3. Set out your goals in order of priority.

Your most important goals are the ones that pay. Never forget that these are your top TO DOs. Because sometimes, we forget that above all the rest, it’s the prospecting that will really make your business succeed. Beginnings are always the most difficult. If you commit to just one email, one phone call a day, you will find it easier and easier to do it again.

4. Try and do one thing a day to improve you
r business.

This could be talking to someone about the opportunity, reading a chapter in a self-help book, creating an email or flier for your business. It needn’t turn into something scary and insurmountable. The key is to be persistent and stay focused on the big picture. All our smaller goals may differ – but the one thing we all want is financial security and freedom.

5. Keep your business in order.

What could be a bigger waste of precious time than having to search for things hidden beneath a mess? You’ve got to be your own secretary and make sure your work environment is clean and organized. Little things done right from the very beginning will help you grow faster as your business gains momentum.

6. Stay focused.

Your home business will grow with endurance and patience. Find that inner resolve to stay with it for at least 6 months and you will see the amazing potential that MLM has to change lives.
