You’ve found the best Network Marketing company and signed up. You’ve done all your research and are really motivated by the many possibilities you see in this incredible line of business. Your upline sponsor has contacted you and said they would be available to help you out. Life is good. It’s all systems go!

Now let's fast forward three months. No one has joined your business. It hasn’t worked. You're feeling overwhelmed. You never seem to have any time to do what it takes to succeed. You’re on the verge of quitting. This MLM business isn’t right for you.

Do you recognize this story? This has happened to every single one of us at some point in our journey. MLM is not merely about starting a different job, it’s more about starting a whole new way of thinking. That takes time. And this isn’t easy.

1. Make specific time for your MLM business.

This is not negotiable – you NEED TO design a work program for yourself. Dismissive statements like, “It’ll get done sometime soon”, won’t get you where you want to go. You have too many distractions, too many other things going on in your life. Unless you specifically put aside time for your business, it won’t work! Will you have to sacrifice a little? Yes. 2. Don’t kill your business with background research

Choosing to spend all your time investigating things about your business might make you an expert…but what will be bringing in the money? While you're getting "book learning", others are out there prospecting, making mistakes and SALES. It’s a mistake to believe you must know all there is to know before you begin. Not a single one of us knows it all. Earn WHILE you learn.

3. Create a priority list and follow it.

The top activities are the ones that will make you money. Ensure that these get your attention first and foremost. Or else, it’s easy to forget amongst all the paperwork and the reading that it’s your leads that are actually the key to success. Beginnings are always the most difficult. If you commit to just one email, one phone call a day, you will find it easier and easier to do it again.

4. Commit to get better every day.

This could be talking to someone about the opportunity, reading a chapter in a self-help book, creating an email or flier for your business. It doesn't have to be a big, huge task. The way to success is perseverance and continuity. All our smaller goals may differ – but the one thing we all want is financial security and freedom.

5. Keep your business in order.

The biggest time waster is having to look for things in a messy, cluttered environment. A clear, uncluttered working environment means a clear and uncluttered head for business. Simple things, like tidying up and being organized with your paper work will mean you keep on top of the little things, no matter how much your business speeds up.

6. Staying Power

Your business needs your fortitude and resilience to succeed. Find that inner resolve to stay with it for at least 6 months and you will see the amazing potential that MLM has to change lives.
