Party games. How Continents see Them.

Party games can make a party much more enjoyable and friendly. They may help everybody in the gathering to get more social and get acquainted with one another better and are perfect to be played and to create a more fun party. Moreover if these party games are exciting and are indidually made up for the several sorts of parties that are being held they can contribute to create a fabulous celebration.
So in a theme party we would suggest to people to come with an adequate and original fancy dress for the party but as well to play some party games in relation to the theme of the party.
Specially children they will love to create their own dresses, hats, birthday cakes, pirate maps or anything related to their parties beforehand. Just with some patience and the help of their fathers and mothers, children could have an extraordinary time even previously to the party.
In my opinion it is quite obvious that Europe needs to get to know some more about the New Continent (America) and in particular the USA as this land seems to be more creative in making all kinds of theme parties. For example in the USA you will find with ease 80's ice-skating parties where you would go to the ice-skating court disguised as in the 80's. I can talk about this because I have seen photos of my friends in the USA via MySpace doing that sort of a party. In The Old Continent I would like to see anything like that.
I have seen my USA fellows celebrating all sorts of theme parties and I know that they celebrate super bowl parties and they play super bowl games as well. However in relation to the Champions League Soccer Final which happens to be each year in some European soccer stadium which would be the equivalent in the Old Continent to the American Super Bowl, I have never done something special previously, during or after seeing the Champions League Final. The group tend to wear their favourite team t-shirts, cups, hold their team's flags or wrap themselves with the team's scarf and catch up with their friends to watch the game either in their apartments, in bars, pubs, etc. If their team wins, they go outside and celebrate it mostly by getting drunk but they do not play any party games previously, during or after the Champions League Final, nor adorn their flat or house with something special nor dine anything out of ordinary. Food usually consists someway of cheap munchies.
Whilst the Americans seem to be more willing and creative to make any sort of theme parties and to play related theme party games, the Europeans don't seem to be so attracted to be creative because perhaps Europe is formed just out of older nations that have developed throughout the history their own customs, own festivities that they celebrate in some given days of the year.
In addition to this in Europe people has a tendency to live closer to their parents and relatives and the family unit still is a key element in their lives, so they usually spend more time with their families than the common American (USA).
On the other hand Europe has more stored games to be played and stories and tells to be told than in America because for ages people in Europe did not have televisions, consoles, internet, etc. so they had to socialize, tell stories, create new games to have fun with and pass the time.
So in Europe we have plenty of old piled up party games and stories that have been made up throughout the history that would suit for our themed parties, but because of our own customs, traditions, culture developed for ages we seem to underestimate these stored up old games and creativity to have a nice time in our parties and fellowship times together, though we pass more time with the family unit which is a very good factor.
Americans seem to be telling us at the present time: we don't have as many traditions, customs as in Europe, but we would love to make the best of our time anyways. So here we are: they seem to be more creative when arranging and creating theme parties or playing theme games.
An ideal mix to celebrate nice theme parties and to play nice party games would be to mix the creativity and willingness of the Americans to arrange and create theme parties with the amount and quality of old games, tells, stories, etc. of all types piled up for ages that Europeans could draw of the old closet.
In relation to this I would like to make a difference with some little help for you to make your theme parties more exciting providing you with a few games and thoughts. Go now and see bio box below.
