Organizing Tips for High School

Author: Russel Demick

I remember the years of high school and middle school when getting my school supplies in place was a real confrontation. After a number of years, I've become an old hand at it. After a few instances, I picked to change my methods. What functions for me isn't absolutely what has to work for you, and some ways have worked one year but proven inefficient the next.

1) Use a binder system. Put all your docs in a binder for each subject. coordinate the binders by making each one of them have different sections. For example, one binder would have segments for tests, quizzes, homework, and notes.

2) utilize a portfolio system. Instead of binders, simply use a document manager. This is easier as you won't need to hole punch everything. You can also store school supplies in here.

3) Remember your school supplies. At the rate that I lost pencils, I would recommend buying 75 of them. Some of my teachers also made me take tests and quizzes in pens, so I would also advice buying 25-50 affordable pens. yet don't neglect the basics like pocket folders and highlighters. A tool that has proven to be invaluable for me was the hole puncher. I kept one in my locker. These days they make ones that will fit into a binder and hold the remaining pieces.
