Environmentalists have advocated several ways to lessen the carbon buildups in the atmosphere. One of them is the use of carbon capture trees. There are some who think that planting trees is primarily for the prevention of soil erosion. But the truth is that trees capture carbon dioxide, too. Along with the evolution of trees, their efficiency and power in withdrawing carbon from the atmosphere have also increased. Trees are definitely humanity’s strongest allies in fighting climate change.

If trees are alive, they can be relied upon as carbon sinks. Research has revealed that there are 2 varieties of pine trees, the Aleppo Pine and the Stone Pine, that absorb big amounts of carbon. Aleppo Pine is said to capture around 48 thousand kilograms of carbon dioxide, while Stone Pine is believed to absorb as much as 28 thousand kilograms. These 2 varieties of pine trees, obviously, are good carbon capture trees. Therefore, more of them should be planted.

Another method employed by people to counter climate change is subscribing to renewable sources of energy. Among these renewable energy sources, the most popular choice is solar energy. This energy source harnesses the power of the sun with the use of solar panels. Because solar electricity does not involve the process of burning coal or fossil fuels, it is considered as the cleanest energy source.

Nobody can deny the presence of global warming. Climate change has taken place, too, because of global warming. And because of climate change, many lives and properties have been damaged and lost. Well, it’s never too late.
