Just A Feeling . . About Learning To Use Intuitive Guidance

Author: June Hardy

Have you had an occasion when all of a sudden you just had this huge hunch that something is about to happen, and to your surprise, that gut feeling eventually happened?

When you have a strong impression without a logical basis to it, that's called intuition. It comes from several different ways, including through clairvoyance, having "gut feelings" and in clairaudience - feeling through listening.

Clairvoyance is when your eye sees beyond the normal. This is when you know what is happening somewhere.

Sensing clearly is what we call a "hunch" or "gut feeling" This is a time when we are overwhelmed with a feeling and can't explain it and all we can say is "I just know."

Clairadience or feeling through listening is being able to "hear" what's unheard . Intuition also happens at times when a certain sound, whatever it is - be it a bird call or a baby's cry - creates an very strong feeling.

They say only a number of people are gifted with intuition, but studies have been sprouting left and right that declare that anyone can develop intuition.

Why the need to develop intuition, you ask? Why not let your psychological state stay as it is? First and foremost, intuition promotes good communication. It makes you more sensitive to those around you; it often keeps you from hurting those you love because you are intuitive and more understanding.

Finally, intuition has a healing power. This healing power is not in the physical sense, but in delving deep into your soul to eradicate some negative energy buried in it.

With that being said, are you ready to develop your intuition? Here are some ways to proceed:

1. Self-hypnosis

Hypnosis is easily learned with readily available materials. You can learn to perform hypnosis on yourself or you can avail yourself of hypnotic programs that can strengthen your intuition.

2. Meditate

Meditating means finding peace within yourself. If your mind and heart are troubled with too much hurt, you can't quiet down that part of you that could eventually encourage intuition. There are so many ways to meditate: take a yoga class, or just simply sit quietly and watch your breathing that could bring you straight to you inner self.

3. Just let it go.

What does this mean? If you are on the brink of making a huge decision, let go of all thinking and head to a quiet place where you can float quietly and release everything. Sometimes you just have to listen to the "still small voice" within, and that voice won't appear unless you let go.

4. Expectation

After letting go of the inhibitions and all those things that stop you from thinking and feeling clearly, you shouldn't expect an answer right away. Never expect that the "hunch" would fall in your lap immediately. Give it a little time then before you know it -- wham! -- there's your answer.

5. Be happy!

Happiness attracts immeasurable power and such power includes intuition. In tapping into your intuition, your motive must be happiness and satisfaction. Given that premise, intuition will fall to you easily.

Intuition is wonderful, because sometimes it leads you to something that cannot be achieved otherwise. A lot of lives have been saved simply through intuition.

So develop intuition now and reap more great rewards than you could ever have imagined.
