Weekly surveys show a decrease in layoffs and joblessness claims
Some weekly job industry data was released by the U.S. Department of Labor. Initial jobless claims, or new applications for unemployment benefits, declined in the week that ended on March 26, in accordance with CNN, though the drop was only by 6,000. There was a 3,000 increase in joblessness benefits in the four-week average of original jobless claims. The number of brand new individuals claiming joblessness benefits was increasing for few weeks, however then turned right around and dropped. Workers in America doing more than before
MSNBC states that American productivity increased quite a bit which is the only good thing that came from the unemployment in the last few years.
