Is There An ACN Scam? Don't Join Before You Read This ACN Review!

Introduction

ACN is a roughly 20 year old Multi level marketing company previously based out of Farmington Hills, MI but now is based in Concord, NC in the USA. Their first product was long distance service. As of this article’s creation, they operate in 21 different countries and deliver a multitude of services and products. These include cell phone service, home security service, satellite TV, internet, long distance, and before the whole ‘Enron Scandal’ utility services were also offered. ACN also has a really neat video phone system that works via VOIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol). Now let’s go through it to see if ACN is the right opportunity for you…

Background

Founded way back in 1992 by Greg Provenzano and Tony and Mike Cupisz, ACN Inc. swiftly rose to be the 22nd fastest growing company documented in INC. Magazine in '98. ACN is a member of the DSA (http://www.dsa.org/forms/CompanyFormPublicMembers/view?id=7F3000009FD) and has been featured in numerous publications including Success from Home and USA Today. The company was widely endorsed by none other than Donald Trump and was highlighted on his well-known TV show, The Apprentice. Mr. Trump later offered to buy the company. They obviously did not sell and Trump went on to start his own MLM company.

Products And Services

ACN's services are extremely competitive. As a matter of fact, they offer some of the least expensive rates around for phone service for local, long distance, and even international rates. However, as the cell phone continues to dominate as the preferred method of communication, I can't see these rates sustaining at the current rates because the home phone is becoming more and more obsolete. But here’s the good news, if ACN’s rates were outrageous then nobody would want to use their services. Therefor its in their best interest to keep rates as low as possible.

Here is an in depth look at what ACN offers…

Long distance service – This is their first product and it is what helped propel them to early success. They barely mark up their service so their profit margin is very low. Again, as we gravitate more toward cell phone usage as the dominant form of communication, there's a chance this service could be obsolete in a few years.

Digital phone services – This is a VOIP format service to accompany the video phone I mentioned earlier. And yes they do have regular phones that work with this service as well if video phones don’t float your boat.

DSL internet service– ACN offers DSL services through local providers and networks: Verizon, Qwest and Covad to name a few. This means DSL might not be available in all areas.

Satellite TV –ACN is a reseller for the two most widely known satellite providing competitors: Dish Network and DirecTV.

Cell phone services – ACN resells cell phone service also. In other words if you use Verizon Wireless for example, you would get a discounted rate through ACN.

Home Security – ACN is a reseller of this as well but offers no options here. You will be forced to go with ADT which is definitely not a bad thing. ADT is one of the most respectable companies for Home Security in the industry.

The ACN Comp Plan:

Ok, Here is the deal: there is not a lot of markup on all of these services so a LARGE amount of volume is necessary to build a long term residual income that is lucrative. That is a main reason for the multitude of services ACN offers. If you sign up one thousand phone bills why not double or triple that by also signing the same customers up for DSL and DirecTV? Then the same thousand customers turn into three thousand customers if you know what you’re doing.

The services they offer are common necessities (more or less). In other words they are services most people need and pay for every single month regardless of if there’s a compensation plan attached. This offers a legit selling point when talking to prospects.

To get paid on the customers you personally sign up, you must have a specific number of personal customers per paid rank as well as definite customer acquisition qualifications based on your downline's production. I am not here to go over every detail of the pay plan, just to give you the nuts and bolts. Remember, that ANY compensation plan can be profitable IF you are properly building your business to maximize the particular pay plan's bonus and commission structure. Therefore, ACN’s compensation plan will show profits IF you build a large customer base and downline organization.

Conclusion

Is ACN a legit opportunity? Yes

Is there an ACN scam? No, definitely not. A company couldn't be in business for nearly twenty one years and be in over twenty countries if it were a deception. It surely would have been closed down by now.

ACN is a legit, legal and feasible network marketing company and can be quite lucrative. In the end, ONLY YOU can know if ACN is appropriate for you. Make sure you do your homework and understand that building a large successful organization takes time. Avoid the lies and over embellishments of those who tell you something different. Do NOT signup with these types of people because they're most likely out for personal monetary gain.

Any Multi level marketing opportunity should be operated with a attitude of commitment. Don't, under any circumstances start one with the mindset ‘Oh, I’ll give it a try and see what happens’! Because I can promise you nothing will happen.
