I get this question often: “How can I quickly lose weight?”. My Reply? Chop an arm off! I am joking of course but the truth is when a person loses 10 lbs fast they usually do it in an harmful and unsustainable way. Then after a short duration of time they gain the weight they lost all over again, and then some.
You see, a absurd question deserves a ridiculous answer. By cutting off an arm you are certain not to gain the body weight back. Most people are hoping for a “quick fix” or a new miracle pill. But most don't understand that by doing small and persistent things in a different way you can ensure long term and steady weight loss without the worry of gaining it all back (plus a few more in most cases).
People all over the country are searching for new and improved ways to lose weight, burn fat, and look good with the lights turned on. The reality is that most people believe that drastically changing their diet is the only way. What this does is creates a predicament where the dieter deprives him/her self of the foods they really adore. Well, even the most focused of us cannot go without our favorite foods forever. This assures disaster and is one of the main causes for the yo-yo dieting syndrome.
So what transpires next? The dieter turns to supplements, fat burners and appetite suppressants to try to find an easy way burn fat and lose weight. Some of these supplements work along with diet and exercise, but many turn out to be harmful or even deadly.
The regrettable truth is that many don't want to deal with the real source of the problem, their habits. These methods create a dangerous cycle that causes unhealthy weight fluctuations, dropping and regaining weight over and over again. Without modifying our thoughts and behaviors, we are doomed to continue our mistakes. Dieting alone doesn’t work. Neither does only taking fat burners and supplements. The surprising thing is that by slightly altering our daily actions we can ultimately burn more calories and burn more fat, and keep it off…for good!
There are a variety of different programs out there designed to educate us to burn fat the right way. It doesn’t require tons of research or reading. A word of caution however: NOT all programs are created equal! I have personally wasted close to $8000 on numerous programs and products out there that were completely pointless! And that's not including all the gym memberships over the years. My objective is to keep others from making the same mistakes I have!
Make certain you understand that changing your body requires a consistent change in your actions and thinking and by using these programs you are complimenting your new ways of being.
