What Type Of Green Veggies Are Best To Buy To Obtain Health?

Dark green veggies, or simply just greens are commonly talked about when discussing 'optimal health' and becoming 'healthy'. Health experts and our moms and dads can be heard telling us 'consume additional green veggies'.

The truth is... people really need more green leafy vegetables in their regular diet than they likely realize.

Additionally, they would probably need to have way more salads than they would want (and have time to eat) to eat the optimal green veggies that are suggested to eat by the natural health experts.

Furthermore the greens should be masticated down to basically nothing before swallowed to really be assimilated by our bodies. When the healthy greens are not digested appropriately, you can't anticipate them to be assimilated. Assimilation makes reference to the nutrients being absorbed into the bloodstream and used by our bodies.

Also, if the green veggies are cooked, the lion share of the vitamins and minerals and enzymes (maybe even all) will be destroyed. So.. consuming green leafy vegetables in their raw form is recommended by raw food eaters and other natural health advocates. However, raw green veggies aren't entirely palatable.

But there is a resolution. There is a very simple method to get a lot of uncooked green vegetables in the daily diet and actually have them taste very good. Additionally, this method allows the body to digest the greens appropriately...

..We'll go back to that, but before that, let me respond to the query... what green leafy vegetables are ideal to add to the diet to contribute to being healthy?

The simple answer.. almost every last one of them!

Of course, a handful will have greater nutrient benefit than others, dinosaur kale being one of the most nutritionally dense (which means there are lots of health benefits).

Just don't use the exact green daily for several months at a time. Switch it up sometimes.

Time for the response to how to eat the raw green veggies, have them taste good, pre-digest them for easier digestion, and consume lots of them?

Blend your green vegetables in green smoothies (fruit smoothies with green veggies blended in) to put more into your daily diet. Also, chopping them in a blender will get them in to a pre-digested state, giving them the ability to be more quickly and easily digested.

Use all green veggies, best choices being insecticide free and locally grown if available. Grow beet greens, carrot tops, fresh parsley, dill, cilantro (my absolute favourite next to kale), romaine lettuce, spinach and others, providing they are dark green and leafy!

And adding more than one green veggie in a green smoothie will not pose a problem. OK, now go ahead and digest your greens and move towards health!
