The intent is simply to place as many of your pieces on the board as you can before the game ends. Each new piece that is placed on the board must touch another piece of the same color, but it cannot touch along a side. Pieces are permitted to touch only at the corners. Players take turns placing their pieces.

You need to be constantly thinking strategically and consider your next move to increase your own territory! And at the same time, you need to be thinking ahead about how you will be blocking your competitors. Each playing piece is a different shape, so each move can be decisive.
